About the role
Wabtec provides equipment, systems, and services for freight and transit rail and other industrial markets. This engineer supports door-system projects through customer engineering, technical documentation, project execution, and onsite service assistance.
What you'll do
- Resolve customer and internal technical issues involving door systems
- Conduct fleet assessments, feasibility studies, and field studies
- Translate customer requirements into engineering specifications and documentation
- Manage spare-parts and documentation updates for lifecycle needs
- Support design reviews, tenders, and project execution
- Provide onsite technical assistance for repairs, overhauls, and upgrades
