About the role
Wabtec develops rail equipment, systems, and digital solutions, including train handling technologies for freight operations. This engineer will support requirements, system design, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment of train automation and optimization products.
What you'll do
- Support design, development, testing, and enhancement of train handling solutions
- Gather, document, and analyze customer and system requirements
- Participate in design reviews, requirements reviews, and verification activities
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support resolution efforts
- Contribute to field testing and validation of train automation solutions
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and engineering deliverables
