Threat Analyst 2

Sophos provides cybersecurity products and managed detection and response services to organizations. The analyst investigates security incidents, hunts threats, analyzes malware, and helps improve detection and response.

• Investigate escalated security alerts across endpoint, network, cloud, and identity environments
• Analyze incident root cause, scope, lateral movement, and potential impact
• Investigate ransomware, suspicious scripts, and malware behavior
• Conduct proactive threat hunts using defined hypotheses and threat intelligence
• Correlate data from EDR, SIEM, cloud logs, and identity platforms
• Document findings and provide clients with remediation guidance
