About the role
PayPal provides payment and commerce services connecting consumers and merchants globally. You will build API security capabilities, ship enforcement controls, lead security tooling strategy, and extend protections across software supply chains.
What you'll do
- Consolidate API security checks into a shared policy-as-code capability
- Ship gateway-level hard-block policies for pre-release API security
- Evaluate and migrate dynamic application security testing tools
- Extend enforcement to pipeline access and artifact verification
- Mentor engineers and lead technical design, review, and escalation work
- Shape team roadmaps and prioritize security initiatives
