About the role
Elastic provides cloud-based search, security, and observability solutions that combine search with AI. The UX Engineer will build accessible, high-performance interfaces for internal generative AI products and workflows.
What you'll do
- Build responsive front-end interfaces for generative and agentic AI workflows
- Create scalable, reusable UI component libraries with React and TypeScript
- Implement streaming interactions and optimize asynchronous UI state
- Integrate interfaces with internal services, RAG endpoints, and orchestration APIs
- Test and refine AI workflows with designers, product managers, and backend engineers
- Track UX analytics and document component systems and design patterns
