AI Engineer

The Product Highway is an AI-native product strategy and engineering firm building software for clients across multiple industries. You will develop, evaluate, deploy, and maintain production AI systems such as RAG pipelines, agents, and voice applications.

• Design RAG systems, including indexing, retrieval measurement, and failure handling
• Build agentic systems with routing, tools, orchestration, and guardrails
• Create evaluation harnesses and regression tests for AI features
• Select models based on quality, cost, and latency trade-offs
• Deploy and monitor production AI systems, tracking cost and latency
• Improve APIs, queues, and schemas when they block AI delivery
