About the role
Caterpillar manufactures equipment and components for industrial and off-highway applications. The Category Buyer will develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and improve cost, quality, delivery, and supply capacity.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute category sourcing strategies
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, inventory, and quality issues
- Assess business proposals and sourcing risks
