About the role
Cisco's IT Data team designs enterprise data platforms that support analytics and business decision-making. The Data Architect will set architecture standards and roadmaps, guide platform modernization, and oversee secure, governed data solutions.
What you'll do
- Define enterprise data architecture standards and multi-year roadmaps
- Design scalable data lakes, lakehouses, warehouses, and streaming systems
- Lead migration strategies to cloud-native data platforms
- Establish data modeling, governance, lineage, and quality frameworks
- Review architecture designs for reliability, performance, scalability, and security
- Mentor engineers and advise leaders on data architecture decisions
