About the role
Collins Aerospace develops aerospace systems, including aircraft evacuation slides and evacuation systems. The Deputy Manager will lead manufacturing operations, production teams and process improvement while ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.
What you'll do
- Lead manufacturing operations for evacuation slides and associated systems
- Manage production plans, capacity, manpower deployment and line balancing
- Monitor safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity performance
- Ensure aerospace quality compliance and control critical manufacturing processes
- Drive lean improvements, root-cause analysis and corrective actions
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on production readiness and process changes
