About the role
Wabtec provides equipment, systems and digital solutions for freight and transit rail sectors. The Deputy Manager will source materials, manage suppliers and inventory, and support timely production through purchasing and supply chain coordination.
What you'll do
- Plan raw material requirements using sales forecasts
- Release and follow up on purchase orders
- Coordinate supplier deliveries and conduct supplier audits
- Develop suppliers and negotiate costs and sourcing options
- Track import materials and maintain inventory levels
- Report supply chain KPIs and update MIS reports
