About the role
GalaxEye builds remote-sensing satellites and geospatial analytics services using satellite imagery. The engineer will develop, integrate and validate real-time control software for a space-borne SAR payload.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain SAR payload control software
- Implement payload modes, initialization and operational sequencing
- Integrate software with onboard systems, RF electronics and FPGA units
- Build payload health monitoring and fault recovery mechanisms
- Test and validate software through unit, integration and Flatsat testing
- Support calibration, mission operations and post-launch software maintenance
