About the role
ICF provides consulting and technology services, including analysis for energy and power-sector clients. The analyst will model power markets and transmission systems, analyze data, and prepare research and client products.
What you'll do
- Collect and analyze data for power-sector modeling projects
- Perform production cost modeling and transmission congestion analysis
- Assist with nodal market modeling and asset valuation
- Conduct load-flow and transmission-system analysis
- Research power-market developments and update forecasts
- Develop code and macros to process large datasets
