About the role
ICF provides consulting and technology services to public and private sector clients. This consultant will analyze power markets and transmission systems, support energy modeling and policy projects, and prepare client-facing products.
What you'll do
- Collect and analyze power-sector data for modeling projects
- Perform production cost modeling and transmission congestion analysis
- Support nodal market modeling and asset valuation calculations
- Conduct transmission load-flow and reliability analysis
- Research power market developments and regulatory effects
- Develop code and macros to manage large datasets
