About the role
Meraki Labs builds and scales AI-first startups, and Proofline provides retrieval and knowledge capabilities for research institutions and enterprise research teams. You will own production retrieval systems, from document ingestion and search to evaluation and retrieval quality.
What you'll do
- Own the document ingestion, chunking, embedding, search and reranking pipeline
- Build retrieval across published literature and private institutional documents with provenance
- Develop citation and identifier resolution and large-corpus onboarding
- Build retrieval evaluation metrics and demonstrate improvements across releases
