About the role
Discover Dollar's freight audit function reviews charges and controls for its CTC business units. The representative audits freight charges, reconciles carrier accounts, resolves payment issues, and supports process improvements.
What you'll do
- Audit freight charges against approved contracts and issue claims for deficiencies
- Verify carrier setup to support accurate and timely payments
- Reconcile carrier charges and clear eligible unmatched items
- Analyze month-end accruals and prepare commentaries for review
- Investigate duplicate charges and help prevent recurring errors
- Execute accounts payable controls and maintain supporting evidence
