About the role
Eurofins provides analytical testing and laboratory services across life sciences and other industries. The database administrator will operate and secure database platforms, optimize performance, manage recovery, and resolve operational issues.
What you'll do
- Install, configure, and upgrade MSSQL and PostgreSQL servers
- Monitor and tune database performance and SQL queries
- Maintain backup, high-availability, and disaster-recovery solutions
- Administer Azure database services and automate operational tasks
- Investigate database incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Support deployments, migrations, and operational improvements with partner teams
