About the role
Amtech provides enterprise software for packaging, printing, and manufacturing, including systems for operations and analytics. The Lead Data Engineer will architect and govern data platforms, pipelines, and AI data layers while setting technical standards and mentoring engineers.
What you'll do
- Own architecture for data warehouses, tenant stores, lakes, and feature stores
- Design tenant registries and data warehouse layers for multi-tenant AI workloads
- Build and govern data access layers for hybrid AI workflows
- Set standards for ETL, orchestration, data quality, security, and governance
- Lead design reviews, mentor engineers, and resolve technical escalations
- Improve pipeline reliability, observability, and incident response
