About the role
Collins Aerospace develops aerospace and defense technologies and manufacturing solutions. The engineer will create process plans and cost models, maintain manufacturing documentation and data, and support production industrialization and supplier activities.
What you'll do
- Develop manufacturing process plans and should-cost models for components
- Evaluate manufacturability, production methods, tooling, and cycle times
- Create and maintain process flow diagrams, PFMEAs, routers, and work instructions
- Configure manufacturing data in SAP and MES systems
- Analyze supplier quotations and support sourcing and supplier development
- Support NPI, design for manufacturing, value engineering, and continuous improvement
