About the role
Collins Aerospace develops aerospace and defense systems, including aircraft power generation and distribution solutions. You will design and automate electric motors and generators, develop tools, and support product validation and optimization.
What you'll do
- Design electric rotary machinery, including motors and generators
- Develop three-phase and six-phase electric machine designs
- Interpret electromagnetic design results
- Build automation tools using AI/ML, Python, C, and C++
- Automate CAD workflows to reduce cycle time
- Support product optimization and document automation code
