About the role
Disney Experiences Technology builds software for guest experiences across parks, resorts, travel, retail, and other consumer touchpoints. This engineer leads architecture and development of backend services, APIs, and integrations while guiding engineers and supporting reliable, high-scale applications.
What you'll do
- Guide architecture, design, and implementation of large-scale software systems
- Lead development of guest-facing and internal software products
- Mentor and coach individual contributor engineers
- Resolve incidents affecting high-volume, 24/7 applications
- Design and develop backend services, APIs, and integrations
- Coordinate agile planning, releases, and cross-team dependencies
