About the role
Disney Experiences supports parks, resorts, cruises, travel, retail, and consumer operations worldwide. The Senior Database Administrator will operate and improve reliable, secure database infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain highly available database infrastructure
- Administer relational and NoSQL databases across on-premises and cloud environments
- Tune database performance and troubleshoot operational issues
- Implement monitoring, alerting, backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies
- Automate database operations and infrastructure changes
- Mentor junior team members and support upgrades and migrations
