About the role
Lilly discovers and delivers medicines and develops healthcare solutions for people around the world. The Linux Platform Engineer designs, automates, secures, and operates enterprise Linux platforms across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
What you'll do
- Define enterprise Linux platform standards and architectures
- Build, maintain, patch, and troubleshoot Linux server infrastructure
- Develop Ansible automation and manage Linux as a Service
- Harden systems and support security audits and incident response
- Design monitoring, high availability, backup, and disaster recovery
- Guide engineers and lead infrastructure migrations and upgrades
