About the role
Wabtec provides equipment, systems and digital solutions for freight and transit rail and other transportation markets. The Assistant Manager will lead Buy Desk operations, manage analysts and improve global procure-to-pay service delivery and compliance.
What you'll do
- Lead and develop Buy Desk analysts
- Own day-to-day procure-to-pay operations
- Drive service, productivity, quality and compliance performance
- Improve processes and support automation initiatives
- Oversee supplier onboarding and purchase order lifecycle management
- Provide operational reporting and support global process transformations
