About the role
Airbound is developing aircraft for low-cost drone delivery and building manufacturing capability for aerospace production. The Manufacturing Engineer will develop production processes, review designs for manufacturability, and launch facility equipment and workflows.
What you'll do
- Review mechanical designs for manufacturability
- Develop processes for composites, molded, additive, and machined parts
- Design and validate tooling and mechanical assemblies
- Plan facility layouts and material flow
- Specify, procure, install, and commission production equipment
- Coordinate with vendors and equipment suppliers
