About the role
Airbound is developing aircraft for drone delivery. You will design, prototype, test, and validate mechanical assemblies and aircraft structures.
What you'll do
- Design mechanisms and mechanical assemblies for aircraft
- Build and test prototypes hands-on
- Assist with load calculations, tolerance stacks, FEA, and weight budgets
- Evaluate composites, molding, additive manufacturing, and CNC processes
- Select actuation hardware and write scripts to test it
