About the role
The portfolio company operates outbound logistics and customer support for its products. The Operations Lead will manage shipping and last-mile delivery while building customer support operations and leading both teams.
What you'll do
- Lead and coach logistics and customer support teams
- Manage shipping from warehouse dispatch through last-mile delivery
- Negotiate terms and prices with freight and delivery partners
- Track customer support metrics and improve satisfaction
- Resolve customer-impacting issues with warehouse, product, and tech teams
- Handle escalations and communicate about delays, returns, and order exceptions
