About the role
RTX's Collins Aerospace develops aerospace and defense products, including aircraft nacelle systems. This engineer will lead structural analyses, guide team members, and support design reviews and certification activities.
What you'll do
- Lead structural analysis of aircraft nacelle components and assemblies
- Perform static, fatigue, damage-tolerance, vibration, and crack growth analyses
- Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation for design and certification
- Support design reviews and technical discussions
- Guide team members and assess competency gaps
- Drive process and tool improvements
