Principal Software Engineer

Red Hat develops enterprise open-source software, including Linux and virtualization technologies. You will build and debug Windows kernel drivers that help Windows guests run efficiently and reliably on KVM.

• Develop and maintain Windows kernel-mode drivers for virtualized environments
• Optimize Windows-on-KVM performance with virtualization features and specialized drivers
• Debug interactions between the Windows kernel, virtual hardware, and KVM/QEMU
• Build diagnostic tools to monitor driver health and performance
• Coordinate guest driver requirements with Linux Kernel and KVM specialists
• Resolve race conditions, memory leaks, and crashes in virtualized environments
