About the role
Hitachi Energy develops power management systems for monitoring, control, automation, and energy management networks. You will develop, simulate, validate, and integrate power system control algorithms and guide technical work on the development stream.
What you'll do
- Simulate power system operations and verify controls in software-in-loop environments
- Develop MATLAB and Simulink models and reusable controller libraries
- Model generators, breakers, loads, and electrical networks
- Validate controller performance under normal and abnormal operating scenarios
- Integrate MATLAB-developed control logic into the CODESYS PLC environment
- Review designs, code, simulations, and test results
