About the role
Pratt & Whitney develops gas turbine engines for commercial aviation. You will design and improve compression-system hardware for engine programs, applying engineering analysis and design processes.
What you'll do
- Develop design solutions for compression-system hardware
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary product teams
- Apply solid modeling, analysis, and design tools
- Use DFMEA, tolerance stack-up, and root-cause methods to improve hardware
- Coach junior engineers and review their work
- Communicate program status and risks to leadership
