About the role
Collins Aerospace develops aerospace and defense systems, including components and assemblies. The engineer will oversee quality activities such as FAI, PPAP, supplier quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Create, review, and approve FAIRs under AS9102 requirements
- Create, review, and approve PPAP packages under AS9145 requirements
- Handle quality notifications and manage escapes
- Support root cause analysis and manufacturing inspection activities
- Lead continuous improvement events and mentor engineers
