About the role
Dover is a global manufacturer of equipment, components, specialty systems, software and support services. The Supplier Development Lead develops suppliers, drives supplier quality and cost improvements, and aligns sourcing strategies with internal teams.
What you'll do
- Monitor supplier quality and guide suppliers to reduce defects
- Own the PPAP process for quality goods
- Assess and qualify vendors through audits and evaluations
- Drive cost reduction and value engineering projects
- Partner with engineering, project, leadership and R&D teams
- Identify supply chain risks and streamline supplier processes
