About the role
Dover manufactures equipment, components, software and digital solutions across several industrial markets. This engineer will validate firmware and software on embedded platforms through testing, automation and hardware-software integration.
What you'll do
- Design and execute test plans, cases and strategies for firmware and software validation
- Perform functional, system and regression testing on embedded platforms
- Develop and maintain automated firmware test scripts and frameworks
- Validate hardware-software integration and analyze logs to debug defects
- Maintain test reports, documentation and traceability matrices
- Improve test processes, automation coverage and quality metrics
