About the role
Arctic Wolf provides cybersecurity technology and managed detection and response services to protect organizations from cyber risk. The researcher will develop and maintain detections, investigate emerging threats, and improve detection coverage and accuracy.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain custom detections across endpoint, cloud, and network environments
- Research threats, attack techniques, and telemetry sources to improve detection coverage
- Design and improve anomaly-based and behavioral detections
- Tune detections to improve fidelity and reduce false positives
- Review, troubleshoot, and enhance detection code
- Document research findings and detection runbooks for security and engineering teams
