About the role
Material Depot manages warehouse and depot operations for building and interior materials. The shift manager oversees receiving, inventory control, returns, route-wise staging, and depot staff productivity.
What you'll do
- Oversee material receipt and verify deliveries against purchase and dispatch documents
- Stage materials accurately by vehicle route, order, or destination
- Supervise returns handling and timely GRN and system updates
- Monitor cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and stock adjustments
- Allocate staff tasks and track shift productivity and targets
- Resolve stock discrepancies and maintain shift reports
