About the role
Cisco develops technology connecting and protecting organizations, including infrastructure for AI systems. You will build and operate Kubernetes platforms and backend services supporting machine learning, LLM, and GPU workloads.
What you'll do
- Design scalable Kubernetes platform components for reliable workload orchestration
- Build backend services and platform tooling with Golang or Python
- Automate infrastructure and platform operations using infrastructure as code
- Improve observability through metrics, logs, and traces
- Join on-call rotations and improve reliability through incident response
- Review code and mentor junior engineers
