About the role
Target is a retailer whose MarTech team builds personalized promotion and offer optimization systems. The Senior Data Scientist will develop and productionize models, optimization methods, and experimentation capabilities for retail promotions.
What you'll do
- Develop models for segmentation, redemption prediction, and personalized offer ranking
- Formulate optimization solutions for offer allocation under business constraints
- Apply experimentation and causal inference to measure incremental impact
- Build scalable data science pipelines and productionize models
- Develop monitoring, simulation, and MLOps capabilities for decision systems
- Partner with business and engineering teams to translate problems into solutions
