About the role
Bread Financial provides payment, lending and savings products, including co-brand and private-label credit cards. The Data Engineer will build and maintain data pipelines, warehouses and analytics tools for marketing and business teams.
What you'll do
- Design and build data pipelines integrating internal and external data sources
- Ingest, transform and load data into warehouses, Hive and NoSQL databases
- Monitor data quality and troubleshoot pipeline and analytics issues
- Automate data infrastructure configuration, monitoring and orchestration
- Collaborate with analysts and scientists to implement analytical models
- Mentor associates on data domains, processes and engineering practices
