About the role
Point72 is a global alternative investment firm using fundamental and systematic strategies across asset classes and geographies. The Cloud Compute Engineer will operate Kubernetes and cloud compute infrastructure, automate provisioning, and optimize availability, performance, and cost.
What you'll do
- Design and operate Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS
- Manage EC2 compute capacity, placement, and utilization
- Operate and improve ECS-based services
- Provision compute resources at scale with Terraform
- Monitor compute availability, performance, and cost
- Define containerization standards and deployment practices with platform teams
