About the role

MKS provides electronic component engineering services for its business units. The Component Engineer will evaluate component alternatives, maintain engineering data and documentation, and support manufacturable, cost-effective designs.

What you'll do

Identify and select alternate electrical, electronic, and electromechanical components
Check form, fit, and function compatibility of components
Manage component obsolescence and evaluate alternatives
Document designs, drawings, bills of materials, and RoHS certificates
Coordinate with design engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and suppliers
