About the role
Couchbase provides a cloud database and operational data platform for enterprise applications and AI workloads. The Director of AI Engineering will lead teams building the AI platform, guide architecture and execution, and ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
What you'll do
- Lead and grow engineering teams building the operational data platform for AI
- Drive architecture for platform capabilities spanning databases, PaaS, and AI
- Ensure production scalability for large-scale workloads
- Partner with product, field, support, and customer success teams
- Establish engineering performance, reliability, and productivity metrics
- Mentor engineering managers and senior technical leaders
