About the role
Couchbase provides an operational data platform for enterprise workloads, including AI applications. This engineer will operate security detection and response, automate workflows, and manage vulnerability, cloud, endpoint, and identity security capabilities.
What you'll do
- Triage, investigate, and contain security alerts and incidents
- Manage SIEM log onboarding, correlation rules, and alert tuning
- Build automated security workflows and integrate tools through APIs
- Run vulnerability management and track remediation through verification
- Operate cloud security and endpoint detection tooling
- Develop incident response playbooks and conduct threat hunting
