About the role
AstraZeneca develops medicines, including therapies for hematologic and oncologic conditions. The Patient Safety Director will lead safety strategy, evaluate risks and safety data, and guide benefit–risk decisions across assigned products.
What you'll do
- Lead clinical and scientific safety strategy for assigned products
- Manage product risk evaluations and safety signals through resolution
- Chair safety management teams and represent Patient Safety in governance forums
- Review aggregate safety data and contribute to regulatory safety documents
- Oversee safety content in product labeling and regulatory interactions
