About the role
AstraZeneca develops medicines and uses data and AI across its global business functions. The Senior Director will lead teams building data products and AI capabilities, setting strategy, governance and operating practices, and connecting technology investments to measurable business outcomes.

- Define and deliver the EUIT Data and AI forward engineering strategy
- Build teams that develop reusable data products and AI solutions
- Establish governance for AI agents, data quality, privacy and security
- Measure business value from technology investments with Finance and business partners
- Develop talent, learning opportunities and career pathways across EUIT
- Improve managed-service resilience, automation and cost effectiveness
