Engineer Tapeout Engineering

GlobalFoundries manufactures semiconductors for markets including AI, cloud computing and physical devices. This engineer will carry out tapeout data checks and preparation, troubleshoot EDA tool runs, and improve operational processes.

• Perform design rule checking and prepare mask data
• Validate tapeout data and release it for fracture
• Collaborate with global teams to improve workflows and cycle times
• Troubleshoot EDA tool runs and failures
• Maintain tapeout FMEAs and document best practices
• Collect tapeout metrics and support action plans
