About the role
NXP Semiconductors develops semiconductor products, including SoCs and ASICs. This person will validate silicon and embedded firmware, lead bring-up and debug, and support qualification and issue resolution.
What you'll do
- Review SoC architecture and design specifications
- Develop validation plans, test strategies and coverage metrics
- Execute tests on FPGA, emulation and silicon platforms
- Lead first-silicon bring-up and characterization
- Debug peripheral and system issues and drive corrective actions
- Develop embedded firmware, diagnostic software and automation scripts
