About the role
Kyndryl operates and modernizes mission-critical technology systems for businesses across industries. This specialist will administer and modernize z/OS storage and system environments, resolve escalated issues, and support resilience and disaster recovery.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain enterprise z/OS storage solutions
- Govern DFSMS and SMS environments and plan DASD capacity
- Administer catalogs, VTOC, DFSMShsm, and DFSMSdss
- Troubleshoot storage and system performance issues
- Lead storage modernization, migrations, and disaster recovery enhancements
- Mentor junior engineers and develop operational standards
