About the role
Point72 is a global alternative investment firm using fundamental and systematic investment strategies across asset classes and geographies. The Observability Engineer will build telemetry pipelines, alerts, dashboards, and reliability practices for the firm’s technology systems.
What you'll do
- Design observability capabilities for application and platform health
- Build metrics, logs, and traces collection pipelines
- Develop alerting standards to reduce noise and improve incident response
- Automate monitoring configuration, dashboards, and reliability checks
- Analyze production incidents and address telemetry gaps
- Create dashboards for trends, capacity risks, and reliability outcomes
