About the role
Lilly develops medicines and supports research, manufacturing, and regulatory work across its global operations. This role builds and owns a semantic layer, knowledge graphs, and agentic AI systems for PR&D scientific workflows.
What you'll do
- Build ontologies, triplets, knowledge graphs, and vector-based data foundations
- Develop ingestion pipelines for structured, unstructured, and multimodal PR&D data
- Optimize graph, vector, and keyword retrieval for human and agent use
- Design agent orchestration, evaluation, observability, and operational guardrails
- Set the Semantic Layer roadmap with PR&D science and business stakeholders
- Mentor engineers and establish GxP-compliant architecture and governance practices
