About the role
NXP develops secure semiconductor solutions for automotive, industrial, IoT, mobile and communications markets. The Safety Engineer defines and analyzes safety concepts, requirements and architectures, and supports validation, audits and customer integration.
What you'll do
- Define functional and technical safety concepts
- Capture and manage product safety requirements
- Perform IP- and product-level safety analyses
- Review safety verification and validation strategies
- Support safety audits, assessments and internal reviews
- Help customers integrate NXP safety products
